Importance of Punctuality in organization

Show up on time when you say you will: That's what punctuality is all about. Taking your job seriously and meeting deadlines are both clear signs that you value your team members when you are punctual. This is a basic rule of professionalism at most workplaces. 

On the other hand, being punctual does not just mean you get to your destination on time. In addition to this, they are respectful of their workplace and of their coworkers. If a candidate is late for a crucial meeting such as a job interview, it conveys to the interviewer that he or she is not serious about the position - and that they will be late to work if they are hired. If a candidate is late for an interview without prior notice, many interviewers will write them off right away.
